Sakura Kinomoto is a sweet, cheerful and bright 4th grader at Tomoeda Elementary School. She’s your typical girl who wakes up late and rushes to school. She has her best friend and cousin Tomoyo who is always with her almost all the time. Sakura is also a member of Tomoeda’s cheerleading club. She can sometimes be lazy by throwing the baton and it lands at her head, but, despite that, she is good at sports, unlike her mother, Nadeshiko.

Sakura gets pissed off by her brother Touya, who keeps on calling her "monster" every time she goes down stairs in the morning. She has her dad who is a great cook while her mom died when she was only three years of age. But, despite of not having her mom, she is still cheerful and never gets lonely with her pesky brother on the job calling her names…. That is Sakura-chan’s family. They didn’t mention if she has relatives. They have only said, actually, it on one of the episodes on the TV Series, that Sonomi is Nadeshiko’s cousin, and the old guy at Episode 16 is her great grand father who has longed to see Sakura since Nadeshiko’s family disliked Fujitaka as her husband.

She has her best recipe which is pancake which she usually cooks during her time to cook in the morning. She tries hard to learn how to bake and how to do other cooking stuff. She gets her lessons from her father who happened to be a great cook.

She captures that Clow Cards that she accidentally called upon the power of the Windy and made the other cards fly away from the book… Now, Sakura was tasked by the sleeping guardian beast who was supposed to keep on watch of the cards, Cerberus, which she calls Kero-chan, to get all the cards back. It is her job to collect all the Clow Cards before evil befalls the world and before someone gets them first. She as then equipped by Kero-chan the Sealing Wand to seal the Clow Cards away so that she could once again have the Clow Book together with the Clow Cards in Kero-chan’s hands to handle, but of course, together with her handling cause the cards are hers.

Syaoran Li is one of Sakura classmates who had transferred from Hong Kong to Japan. He was tasked by his mother to collect all the cards and get rid of Sakura. At first, Sakura and Syaoran were rivals in capturing the Clow Cards since Syaoran was also tasked to bring it home. But then, they ended up with friendship at the end… Even more…
