Nadeshiko Kinomoto is the cousin of Sonomi, the mother of Tomoyo, the wife of Fujitaka and the mother of Sakura and Touya. She cares for her family so much that she always checks on them once in a while after she died. She died when Sakura was only 3 so basically, Sakura had never felt on having a mother. The series nor I think the manga explained why she died.

She is so much shy and clumsy. She is not good in sports, or better yet, she sucks in sports unlike Sakura who is very good in that forte.

Her family likes her a lot because I think to the fact that she always keeps them happy like Sakura. She was also became a model by the time she graduated.
