Fujitaka is Sakura and Touya’s father and the husband of Nadeshiko. He is a professor in a university and is an archeologist. He has a talent for cooking and sewing which Touya inherited from him.

Not sure about this info but the manga and the anime quite points out that he is the other half of the reincarnated Clow Reed, with the other Eriol. On how the book got to their house really wasn’t cleared out in the anime and it wasn’t really pointed out that he is the other half. Then again, that might explain, too, where Sakura and Touya got their powers.

Nadeshiko’s family don’t quite like Fujitaka because they always point out that he married her when he was their teacher and that he got Nadeshiko separated from her family early. But in the end, Nadeshiko’s grandfather accepted Fujitaka after seeing how he had brought up Sakura and Touya, but, Sonomi still can’t forgive him after all those years.
