Tomoyo Daidouji is Sakura’s best friend and at the same time, her cousin. She is a shy but intelligent girl who is always at Sakura’s side. She has her mother, Sonomi Daidouji, who takes care of her. They never mentioned nor did they show a picture of her father during the series and the movies.

Tomoyo is a rich girl who lives in a mansion with only her mother with her there. She is the only daughter the Sonomi has so she is very lucky. At her very young age, she already gets what she wants and already has body guards with her if ever she goes out bringing some things for Sakura and her. Despite of those things, she is still a bit shy but has a bit of confidence in her.

She has a very high voice and is a very good singer. She is a member of the Chorus at Tomoeda and is usually the lead singer if they ever have any contests to join.

Tomoyo loves video-taping and capturing pictures of Sakura. She also loved to make dresses for Sakura especially for her adventures in capturing the Clow Cards.

She has also given Sakura things that they might be needing like that toy cellphone that she gave Sakura and Kero just in case something happens or just in case a Clow Card shows up out of nowhere. And, by the 3rd season, she had it updated, or rather she gave Sakura and Kero a new pair and also gave one to Syaoran so that they can contact each other in case of emergencies.

She was always there for Sakura and vice versa. They were almost like sisters who couldn’t be separated no matter what happens.

Also, during the 2nd movie, Tomoyo found a new friend who needs company, Meilin Li. After the incident that Syaoran had already told Meilin that he already found someone that he loved, Meilin ran to Tomoyo and there she cried and soaked Tomoyo’s night gown.

Tomoyo was the only person who knew about what Syaoran felt for Sakura.
